This month Ketchum is proud to support Movember to help raise vital funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer and mental health.
22 brave men of Ketchum London and even more worldwide, including our European CEO, David Gallagher, signed up for the moustache challenge, with a whopping £4,908 raised so far in London for this important cause. Senior partner and CEO Rob Flaherty, as well as senior partner and COO Robert Lorfink also took part, hoping to resemble some of the great “moustache icons” such as Tom Selleck, Albert Einstein and Freddie Mercury, with varying degrees of success!
Leading the pack and the real driving force behind Ketchum London’s participation was Alexander Watson, a director in Ketchum’s Healthcare Practice, who kicked off Movember proceedings with a ceremonial wet shave on Friday 1st November. Explaining his motivation for taking part he said: “As someone who was recently suspected of having prostate cancer – I can’t tell you how scary this prospect was – that’s why I believe passionately in Movember and the great work they do to research both prostate and testicular cancer as well as their support for men’s health. I’d encourage all agencies and clients to sign up, give it a go and donate what they can afford.”
